IOF launches large-scale raid arrest campaign

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank early on Monday.

Three Palestinian youths were detained in Jalazoun refugee camp and Kober village in Ramallah while three others were detained in Occupied Jerusalem.

Two Palestinians were also detained in Jenin including an ex-prisoner.

Meanwhile Jewish settlers launched several attacks targeting Palestinian residents and their properties throughout Nablus to the north of the West Bank.

A local house was stoned and a bus was burned during the settler attacks in Burin village.

A similar attack was reported in Urif town where a local house and a vehicle were damaged while another vehicle was stoned in Hawara town.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank and Jerusalem on Wednesday morning.

A young man was detained after storming his family’s house in Asira al-Qibliya south of Nablus while violent clashes broke out in Ain Munjid neighborhood in Ramallah.

An ex-prisoner was rounded up in Al-Eizariya town in Occupied Jerusalem while two other Palestinians were detained in Dura town in al-Khalil including an ex-prisoner.

Another young man was detained in Jaba town south of Jenin while two ex-prisoners were arrested in Tulkarem.

The IOF troops often carry out detention raids against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem claiming to arrest ‘wanted’ Palestinians.

4700 Palestinian prisoners are currently held in Israeli jails including 30 women 190 minors and about 800 administrative detainees.
