Tuesday 15-June-2021

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday morning opened fire at a group of Palestinian youths during their presence near the border fence in the east of Khan Yunis south of the Gaza Strip.

According to local sources some young men cut through the barbed wire fence in the east of Khuza’ah area in Khan Yunis defying the soldiers who fired live ammunition and tear gas grenades at them.

The youths managed to go back to an area inside Gaza and luckily no one was hurt in the shooting attack.

Meanwhile several young men rallied in protest camps near Gaza border areas to participate in protest activities in solidarity with Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.

Gaza youth groups also announced their intention to resume organizing nighttime protests on the border with the aim of creating confusion among Israeli forces.

In a related incident a young man was injured by Israeli gunfire in the afternoon during his presence in the east of Khan Yunis.
