Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning heavily opened fire at Palestinian farmers working in their lands east of Khan Yunis City in the southern area of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that the IOF stationed at the border fence east of Khan Yunis attacked Palestinian farmers with live ammunition and tear gas canisters.
No injuries were reported but the farmers were forced to leave their lands as the IOF continued to fire.
The IOF on almost a daily basis attacks Palestinian farmers and shepherds working in Gaza’s border areas and sometimes carries out limited incursions there razing lands and destroying crops.
