The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening opened machinegun fire at a border watch post belonging to al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Local sources reported that Israeli troops opened fire intensively at the observation post. Luckily no one was injured in the gunfire attack.
A spokesperson for the Israeli army claimed the shooting was in response to a similar attack on a military patrol vehicle in the area.
