Dozens of Palestinian citizens and foreign activists suffered from their exposure to tear gas on Tuesday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked a march they staged in southern al-Khalil in protest at Israel’s settlement activity.
According to local media the IOF showered the participants in the peaceful march with tear gas in al-Tuwanah village where Jewish settlers recently took over a water well belonging to the local residents.
The IOF also detained a number of journalists and activists before releasing them later.
