The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday afternoon violently attacked the weekly march staged in Ni’lin town west of Ramallah against Israel’s segregation wall and settlement activities.
The participants chanted slogans and carried banners condemning the Israeli occupation and its crimes against the Palestinians as they were marching to the wall area.
A local activist said IOF soldiers showered the participants in the march with tear gas and stun grenades as they reached an area near the separation wall that was built on Palestinian annexed land.
He added that several Palestinian and foreign protesters suffered from inhaling tear gas and received on-site medical assistance.
