The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday afternoon violently attacked the weekly marches staged in Ni’lin and Bil’in towns west of Ramallah against Israel’s segregation wall and settlement activities.
Local sources revealed that the IOF soldiers showered the participants with tear gas and stun grenades in addition to rubber bullets as they reached an area near the separation wall.
The participants chanted slogans and carried banners condemning the Israeli occupation and its crimes against the Palestinians and calling for releasing Palestinian prisoners as they were marching to the wall area the sources said.
Suffocation cases were reported as many of the marchers choked on IOF-fired tear gas the sources added.
