The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday interrogated the wife of martyr Saleh al-Barghouthi after storming the house of her parents in Beit Rima town northwest of Ramallah in the West Bank.
Press sources said that Israeli soldiers raided the house of Shaimaa al-Rimawi the martyr’s wife and interrogated her alone in one of the rooms.
The sources added that the soldiers ransacked the house of Rimawi and clashed with local young men during their presence in the town.
Saleh al-Barghouthi who was a taxi driver was shot dead on December 12 by Israeli soldiers as he was driving home after a long working day.
The Israeli security and military authorities in the occupied West Bank accused him of participating in the drive-by shooting attack near the illegal Israeli settlement of Ofra that led to the injury of seven settlers in early December.
