The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) closed on Monday night the Sumoud and Tahadi Center which is an affiliate of “Youth Against Settlements” in Tel Rumeida neighborhood in al-Khalil City.
According to WAFA news agency the IOF raided the center which is located near the illegal settlement of Ramat Yishai and delivered a notice ordering its closure for 24 hours.
Youth Against Settlements is a Palestinian non-governmental activist group that organizes non-violent popular events against settlement activity and helps the local residents in the Old City of al-Khalil through different campaigns especially during the olive harvest season.
