Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday night and at dawn Monday raided various areas of the West Bank and confrontations erupted. Several Palestinian citizens were arrested including released prisoners.
In Jenin local sources reported that IOF stormed Jabaa town and clashes broke out between young men and IOF. The Palestinian youths threw stones at the IOF vehicles.
IOF arrested Issam Alawneh and Malik Hammour after raiding and searching their house.
Eyewitness said that IOF broke into Rummana village west of Jenin and seized surveillance cameras after storming and searching several Palestinian homes.
Confrontations erupted between the residents and the IOF soldiers who fired sound and tear gas bombs at the youths but no injuries were reported according to the sources.
IOF also raided Ya’bad town in Jenin searched the house of the ex-prisoner Yazid Abd al-Rahim Abed and arrested him.
In Nablus IOF stormed the homes of Wadah Al-Amer and Basil Al-Amer tampered with its contents and fired tear gas in Kufr Qalil village south of Nablus.
In Bethlehem IOF broke into Beit Sahour city and arrested Saber Al-Abayat 29 after raiding and searching his family’s house in Wadi Abu Fariha.
Meanwhile IOF raided the homes of the two prisoners Nassar Obayat and Ahmed Obayat and searched them and destroyed their contents.
In al-Khalil IOF stormed the al-Baraka area in Karmel town and arrested Muntasir Abu Aram after raiding searching his house and tampering with its contents.
The IOF soldiers arrested Jamal Al-Adam from Beit Ula town Bader Abu Ayyash from Beit Ummar and Zahi Al-Shawamrah from Deir Al-Asal village after they raided and searched their homes.
Military checkpoints were set up at the entrances to the towns of Sa’ir and Halhul and at the northern entrance to al-Khalil Jourat Halas and at the southern entrance al-Fahs. IOF stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles and checked their ID cards.
