The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday stormed different areas west of Jenin and carried out a large-scale manhunt in the context of their recent attempts to capture Ahmed Naser Jarrar a wanted resistance fighter from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that citizens had seen plain-clothes soldiers aboard civilian cars on the Wadi Bruqin road and other nearby areas including near Adem venue.
Soldiers also stormed and searched other areas of Jenin including its refugee camp and Haifa street in the city and set up ambushes.
The IOF has intensified their raids on Palestinian areas in Jenin province in an attempt to arrest or kill Jarrar who is accused of participating in a recent drive-by shooting attack that killed a Jewish settler near the illegal outpost of Havat Gilad in the occupied West Bank.
