IOF raids homes kidnaps Palestinians in overnight campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank and Jerusalem amid clashes with local youths in some areas.

According to local sources in Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped a young man called Mohamed al-Hasheem from his home in Bab Hitta area in the Old City.

Police forces also stormed Issawiya at dawn clashed with local youths and kidnaped three young men from their homes including a kid identified as Rida Obeid.

Footage showed young men throwing fire bombs at the police forces in Issawiya.

Police forces also stormed at-Tur town in east Jerusalem where they were showered with fire crackers and fire bombs.

In Jericho a number of young men suffered from their exposure to tear gas during clashes with the IOF in Aqabat Jabr refugee camp.

Local sources said that the IOF intensively used tear gas and fired rubber and live bullets during the skirmishes in the refugee camp. Homes were also raided during the IOF campaign there.

In Bethlehem similar clashes also broke out between the IOF and local youths in Aida refugee camp.

Two young men were reportedly detained for a while by the IOF in Khirbet al-Deir village near Tuqu town in Bethlehem before they were released.

In al-Khalil the IOF stormed the towns of Dura and ad-Dhahiriya raided several homes and kidnaped two young men identified as Ghassan al-Masharqa and Mohamed al-Rab’iee.

Another citizen called Othman al-Ja’bari was handed a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet during an IOF campaign in al-Khalil city.

In Ramallah city the IOF kidnaped a university student called Sufiyan Maqdadi after ransacking his home.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and searched some homes which provoked clashes with local youths.
