IOF raids homes kidnaps citizens in W. Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Saturday raided homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF stormed different areas of al-Khalil interrogated an ex-detainee called Yousef Abu Ras during a raid on his home and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.

In Ramallah the IOF kidnaped a citizen identified as Othman Hammad at the main entrance to Silwad town.

Another citizen identified as Ghassan al-Atrash a resident of Jenin was taken prisoner by the IOF in Qalqilya.

Meanwhile renewed overnight clashes took place between local youths and the IOF near Mount Sobeih in Beita town south of Nablus.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Friday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man identified as Naser al-Rimawi a resident of Beit Rima town in Ramallah after summoning him for interrogation in Ofer jail.

Another young man was also kidnaped by the IOF from his home in Beit Sira town in Ramallah. He was identified as Mahmoud Abu Safiya.

In Jericho the IOF kidnaped two young men from their homes identified as Mohamed Tawtah and Ramadan Rumanin.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped a citizen called Ayman Maghnam from his brother’s home in Yatta town.

The IOF also raided homes in Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil with no reported arrests.

Overnight skirmishes also took place between the IOF and Palestinian youths who rallied on Mount Subeih in Beita town south of Nablus. No arrests have been reported.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday stormed different areas of the West Bank and kidnapped three Palestinian citizens including a child.

According to local sources a citizen from Yatta town in al-Khalil identified as Baha an-Najjar was taken prisoner after he was summoned for interrogation by the Shin Bet in Etzion interrogation center.

A 15-year-old child called Fa’yeq was reportedly kidnaped by Israeli soldiers as he was walking at al-Fawwar junction south of al-Khalil.

The Palestinian Prisoner Society for its part said that the IOF kidnapped a teenager called Islam Ad’eis a resident of al-Khalil during his presence in Bethlehem.

Meanwhile violent clashes between local young men and Israeli soldiers broke out in Osarin town south of Nablus with no reported arrests.

The IOF last night closed the gate of Madama town which connects Palestinian towns and villages in southern Nablus with each other and blocked the road between Nablus and Qalqilya at the junction of Jit and Sarra villages.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday raided homes and kidnapped several Palestinian citizens in different West Bank areas.

In Tulkarem the IOF kidnapped two citizens and clashed with young men during a campaign in Tulkarem refugee camp.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers aboard seven military vehicles stormed Tulkarem camp and kidnapped two ex-detainees identified as Musa’ab al-Hasri and Haytham Balidi from their homes.

The IOF also stormed areas around Tulkarem city and set up a checkpoint on Anabta road.

In Nablus two Palestinian young men were taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in Balata refugee camp and Asira town.

In Bethlehem violent clashes broke out in al-Deheisheh refugee camp between local youths and Israeli soldiers after the latter tried to kidnap a young man called Mohamed Abu Akar from the camp.

The IOF also broke into and ransacked a house belonging to the mayor of the Tuqu town in the east of Bethlehem without making arrests.

A young man identified as Mohamed Bannat was reportedly taken prisoner last night at the Container checkpoint east of Bethlehem.

An Israel military force also stormed Kobar town in Ramallah and smashed the door of a reception room belonging to the family of al-Barghouthi.

In al-Khalil Israeli soldiers physically assaulted a Palestinian young man with special needs called Sammour al-Rajabi near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

In a separate incident a horde of Jewish settlers infiltrated at dawn Thursday Huwara town in Nablus and smashed windows of several Palestinian cars.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday carried out a widespread arrest campaign in different West Bank areas.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnapped an ex-detainee called Jamal Karama along with his wife and son.

A family source told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that a large number of Israeli troops stormed Wadi Abu Aktila neighborhood in al-Khalil city after midnight and ransacked the house of Karama before rounding him up along with his wife Hana Misk and his son Jamil.

The source added that Israeli soldiers physically assaulted members of the family during the raid and caused considerable damage to the house’s doors and furniture.

A few hours before breaking into his house the Israeli intelligence the Shin Bet threatened Karama to arrest him if he refused to turn his wife in.

Meanwhile the IOF stormed Yatta city in al-Khali province and raided homes belonging to the family of ex-detainee Zaid Abu Fanar.

In Jenin the IOF kidnapped two Palestinian citizens at dawn after raiding their homes in Faqqua town.

Two others including a soccer player were kidnapped during an IOF campaign in al-Khader town south of Bethlehem.

A local official told the PIC that the IOF kidnapped ex-detainee Mohamed Salah as well as a soccer player called Ahmed Awdeh after raiding their parents’ homes in the town.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday raided several homes and kidnapped 23 Palestinian citizens in different West Bank areas.

According to a statement released by the IOF the detainees are accused of carrying out or being involved in activities against Israel.

The IOF said that its forces confiscated thousands of shekels during its campaigns in the West Bank claiming the money was seized for security reasons.

In the Gaza Strip Israeli gunboats chased Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of central Gaza and opened machinegun fire at them forcing them to return ashore.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Thursday raided homes and kidnapped several Palestinian citizens during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

The Israeli army claimed in a statement that its forces arrested 16 Palestinians in overnight campaigns in the West Bank.

Local sources in Qalqilya told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the IOF kidnapped three Palestinian young men from their homes in the city.

The IOF also detained and interrogated several young men for some hours last night on the bridge between Jayyous and Azzun towns without making arrests.

In Tulkarem another four young men were taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in Nur Shams refugee camp.

In Tubas the IOF kidnapped Sheikh Wasim Sawafta after ransacking his home as well as another house belonging to a citizen from the same family.

Two young men identified as Mohamed Hashash and Mohamed Kamal from Balata refugee camp were also rounded up by Israeli soldiers on a road near the illegal settlement of Elon Moreh east of Nablus according to their families.

The IOF also detained a young man called Shamekh Hashash a resident of Balata camp who he turned himself in at Huwara checkpoint after soldiers stormed and ransacked his home two days ago and later threatened to arrest his parents.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday carried out raids on Palestinian homes and kidnapped Palestinian citizens in different West Bank areas.

According to a statement released by the Israeli army six wanted Palestinians were taken prisoners during an arrest campaign in the West Bank.

In this regard local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the IOF kidnapped a young man called Ahmed Abdul-Hadi from his home during raids in Burqin town west of Jenin.

They also said that the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the entrance to ash-Shuhada village between Burqin and Qabatiya and patrolled aboard military vehicles streets in Jenin refugee camp.

In Nablus the IOF rounded up two young men from Balata refugee camp at makeshift checkpoints outside Nablus city.

The two detainees were identified as Diya Abu Arab and Atallah.

In Bethlehem Israeli soldiers broke into and ransacked several homes in Beit Fajjar town and brutalized local residents.

During the IOF campaign in the town two young men called Mohamed Taqateqa and Imad Dairya were handed summonses for interrogation from the Shin Bet in Gush Etzion settlement.

Soldiers and intelligence officers also kidnapped a Palestinian citizen from his home in Salfit city.

Eyewitnesses in the city said that soldiers violently stormed and searched the house of Anas al-Zair who works as a doctor before they bundled him into a military vehicle and left the area.

In a separate incident the IOF blocked in the morning the southern entrance to Kifl Hares town west of Salfit which prompted local drivers to use alternative roads or routes to reach their destinations.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday stormed different West Bank areas and kidnapped several Palestinian citizens including an ex-detainee.

According to local sources the IOF kidnapped an ex-detainee from his home in Beit Furik town east of Nablus city. The detainee was identified as Mahmoud Hanani.

In Jenin a Palestinian young citizen was taken prisoner following a violent IOF raid on his home in Qabatiya town.

Another young man was also kidnapped last night during his presence in Israel (the 1948 occupied lands). He was identified as Mohamed Zakarna from Qabatiya town.

The IOF also detained two young men called Ma’an al-Suwaiti and Mohamed al-Lidawi during overnight raids on homes in Jericho.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Friday kidnapped several Palestinian citizens during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

Local sources said that Israeli soldiers raided some homes in al-Khalil city and kidnapped two young men called Yehya Nasruddin and Saleh al-Ja’aidi.

They added that another infantry force escorted by armored vehicles stormed al-Arroub refugee camp in al-Khalil and raided homes.

Five other young men were taken prisoners during an overnight IOF campaign in Jayyous village east of Qalqilya.

A similar campaign in al-Dawha town in Bethlehem led to the detention of a young man identified as Wael Abu Sawi.

In Jenin local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Shin Bet officers detained a young man called Allam Shaban for several hours at Allenby border crossing with Jordan before he was arrested and taken to an unknown place.

The young man suffers from a health problem and was intending to go to Jordan for medical treatment.

The IOF also carried out raids on several homes and a superstore in Tura ash-Sharqiya town south of Jenin city brutalized citizens and deployed road barriers in its southern area.

A makeshift checkpoint was also reportedly set up by the IOF on a road near Ya’bad town where soldiers intercepted Palestinian cars and checked the IDs of passengers.
