The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday carried out raids on Palestinian homes and kidnapped Palestinian citizens in different West Bank areas.
According to a statement released by the Israeli army six wanted Palestinians were taken prisoners during an arrest campaign in the West Bank.
In this regard local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the IOF kidnapped a young man called Ahmed Abdul-Hadi from his home during raids in Burqin town west of Jenin.
They also said that the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the entrance to ash-Shuhada village between Burqin and Qabatiya and patrolled aboard military vehicles streets in Jenin refugee camp.
In Nablus the IOF rounded up two young men from Balata refugee camp at makeshift checkpoints outside Nablus city.
The two detainees were identified as Diya Abu Arab and Atallah.
In Bethlehem Israeli soldiers broke into and ransacked several homes in Beit Fajjar town and brutalized local residents.
During the IOF campaign in the town two young men called Mohamed Taqateqa and Imad Dairya were handed summonses for interrogation from the Shin Bet in Gush Etzion settlement.
Soldiers and intelligence officers also kidnapped a Palestinian citizen from his home in Salfit city.
Eyewitnesses in the city said that soldiers violently stormed and searched the house of Anas al-Zair who works as a doctor before they bundled him into a military vehicle and left the area.
In a separate incident the IOF blocked in the morning the southern entrance to Kifl Hares town west of Salfit which prompted local drivers to use alternative roads or routes to reach their destinations.
