The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday carried out raids on homes and kidnaped Palestinian citizens during campaigns in different West Bank areas.
According to local sources the IOF broke into and ransacked homes in al-Khalil city and kidnaped two citizens identified as Ezzu Ghaith and Rafie Ghaith.
The IOF also kidnaped an ex-detainee called Mohamed al-Salibi from his home in al-Jildah area of the city and hauled him to a military post in the illegal settlement of Karmei Tzur.
In Nablus the IOF stormed Beit Furik town and kidnaped an ex-detainee called Asef Nasasera from his home.
Another young citizen identified as Ahmed Hamdi was also taken prisoner during an IOF campaign in Zawata town in the west of Nablus.
In Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped two young men identified as Hasan Fanoun and Mohamed Ghaiyadah from their homes and handed another one a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.
In Tulkarem a high school student called Abdul-Rahman Tawfeeq was grabbed from his home in Far’un town.
In Jenin the IOF raided homes kidnaped two young men and interrogated another. The detainees were identified as Kareem Abu Baker and Antar Enfayat.
In a separate incident the IOF opened fire at a Palestinian young man and injured him after he allegedly tried to climb over the separation wall in Qalqilya. The wounded was transferred to Darwish Nazzal Hospital in the city.
