The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday raided the homes of senior Hamas officials without making arrests.
According to local sources the IOF broke into the house of senior Hamas official Sheikh Hasan Yousef in Beitunia town near Ramallah wreaked havoc on its contents and confiscated a sum of money and computers.
The IOF had released Sheikh Yousef on July 7 after he spent eight months in administrative detention with no indictment or trial.
The IOF also stormed and ransacked the house of senior Hamas official Sheikh Jamal Attawil in Umm ash-Sharayet neighborhood in Bireh City (Ramallah province).
Local sources said that violent clashes broke out with local youths during the IOF presence in the neighborhood.
Meanwhile the IOF stormed and went on the rampage through the headquarters of Bisan Center for Research and Development in Ramallah City causing widespread damage to its contents.
The IOF also raided the headquarters of Defense for Children International (DCI)-Palestine in Bireh City after destroying its main door. The IOF ransacked the organization’s offices and confiscated a number of its computers.
