IOF raids houses arrests Palestinians in West Bank Jerusalem

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Thursday evening and at dawn Friday a large-scale campaign of raids and arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Local sources said that IOF stormed the eastern region in Salem town east of Nablus and broke into a number of houses.

IOF searched those houses assaulted their residents and arrested six citizens including a boy according to the sources.

In Tulkarem eyewitness reported that IOF raided the house of the Hamas leader Raafat Nassif and the homes of his relatives and detained the women in his brother’s house. IOF also used his brother’s sons as human shields during the storming and fired sound bombs in the vicinity of the house.

In al-Khalil the IOF soldiers arrested the released prisoner Tariq Gharib after raiding and searching his house in Tarqumiya town.

On Thursday evening a special unit of the occupation army known as “Mistaravim” arrested the ex-prisoner Hazem Maslamani from Tubas city.

In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli police arrested the guard of Al-Aqsa Mosque Abdul Karim Qaoud after beating him at the Al-Silsila Gate one of the Mosque’s gates.

Meanwhile the occupation police quelled a rally in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud another gate of the Aqsa Mosque to protest to the insults against Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him by the Jewish settlers during the flag march two days ago.

The Israeli police arrested a young Jerusalemite and took him to an unknown detention center. Several youths including a girl were injured after they were beaten by the Israeli policemen according to the local sources.
