The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning confiscated machines and equipment from a Palestinian metal workshop in Jenin city.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF broke into the workshop seized some equipment and issued a statement later claiming that the workshop is used to manufacture homemade weapons.
Violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the IOF soldiers before the latter withdrew from the area.
In recent years about 200 Palestinian workshops in the West Bank have been seized or closed under the same pretext.
Meanwhile in Salfit eyewitnesses said that the IOF abruptly erected a checkpoint east of the city.
The witnesses added that the IOF soldiers stationed at the checkpoint stopped some Palestinian vehicles and arbitrarily imposed high and unjustifiable fines on their drivers.
