The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday stormed Atouf village in the northern Jordan Valley and demolished a Palestinian house under construction.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that one military bulldozer escorted by troops entered the village which is located in al-Baqi’ah plain of the Valley and demolished a house belonging to a local resident identified as Khaled Bani Odeh at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
The sources added that the Israeli occupation army had issued a demolition order against the house one month ago.
All the Palestinian homes in Atouf village are threatened with demolition or have been demolished several times before as is the case with other Palestinian communities in the area.
