The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday displaced Palestinian families after demolishing their homes in the Khirbet Yarza community east of Tubas at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources bulldozers escorted by soldiers stormed Khirbet Yarza in the morning and then embarked on knocking down two small homes belonging to the brothers Rami and Hafid Masa’eid.
The two brothers had received a military demolition notice last week.
The IOF also confiscated a car belonging to Palestine satellite channel from the demolition area.
Khirbet Yarza is one of the Bedouin hamlets in the Jordan Valley and Tubas province. Before the occupation of the West Bank in 1967 there were about 150 Palestinian families living in this hamlet but later it was announced a military zone by the Israeli army as many other occupied areas forcing most of its residents to leave their homes.
