The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning stormed at-Tuwani village in Masafer Yatta area south of al-Khalil and knocked down a tent and delivered a stop-work order against a house under construction and a well.
Local official Fuaad al-Amour said that the IOF bulldozed a tent and handed Jamal Rab’ie a notice ordering him to halt the building of a house and a well belonging to him in the village.
Amour added that clashes broke out between local residents and Israeli soldiers after the latter bulldozed the tent.
In another incident the IOF on the same day demolished a car wash in al-Manshiyya village near Tuqu town in eastern Bethlehem.
Local official Tayseer Abu Mifreh said that the wash belonged to a villager called Ali al-Khatib and was demolished at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
