Israeli occupation forces (IOF) razed on Tuesday the homes of three Palestinians in northern Jericho in the West Bank and displaced 35 citizens.
Municipality chairman of Awja town Salah Freijat said in a press release that IOF soldiers escorted bulldozers into Shalal al-Awja area and demolished three houses.
He said that two of the houses belonged to a father and his son and were providing shelter for 25 individuals while the third was sheltering 10 individuals.
Freijat said that Palestinian citizens protested the demolitions but were repelled by the IOF soldiers who used teargas and sound bombs to keep them at bay. He noted that the soldiers blocked the entry of media crews and human rights activists into the area.
