Sunday 14-May-2017

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) re-arrested the Palestinian released prisoner Ahmad Qatamish at dawn Sunday after raiding his family’s house in al-Bireh city and took him to an unknown destination.

Suha al-Barghouti Qatamish’s wife told Quds Press that the IOF soldiers violently broke into the house and searched it after destroying its exterior doors.

Barghouti said that her husband who works as a writer and an academic was arrested more than once since 1969 and that he had spent about 13 years in Israeli jails including 10 years in administrative detention.

She pointed out that Qatamish suffers from several chronic diseases that require providing medical care on a regular basis which is not available in Israeli jails.
