IOF resumes manhunt for Ashraf Na’alwa in Tulkarem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday stormed different areas of Tulkarem as part of their ongoing campaign to search for Ashraf Na’alwa who killed last month two Israelis at the Barkan industrial zone in the West Bank.

Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that dozens of Israeli troops raided homes in Tulkarem city its refugee camp and nearby areas and interrogated local residents about Na’alwa 23.

According to those sources violent clashes broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youths in Tulkarem refugee camp. Several citizens including ex-detainees were arrested during the IOF campaign in the camp.

The clashes started at dawn and continued into the morning and took place in several areas of the refugee camp.

The IOF also stormed Kafr al-Labad town east of Tulkarem and kidnapped a Palestinian citizen and his son from their home.

Other areas of Tulkarem including Shuweika Dunaba and Artah were also stormed by the IOF at dawn with no reported arrests.
