The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) confiscated on Wednesday morning a bulldozer in Qarawat Bani Hassan town in western Salfit provoking scuffles with Palestinian citizens.
The IOF seized the bulldozer as it was working on reclaiming swaths of agricultural land belonging to Palestinian farmers at the pretext that the area is located in Area C of the West Bank which is under Israeli military control.
According to local sources the IOF transferred the bulldozer to an unknown place and ordered the local residents to stay away from the area.
In a separate incident the IOF closed on the same day the military checkpoint at the main entrance of Atara village in northern Ramallah and prevented local residents from entering Birzeit City and other nearby areas.
Later angry youths from the village clashed with Israeli soldiers who fired tear gas canisters at them.
