Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday confiscated more than 200 dunums of Palestinian land in Kisan village in the West Bank district of Bethlehem.
Ahmad Ghazal the head of Kisan’s village council said that IOF soldiers in large numbers stormed the village and surrounded about 200 dunums of privately-owned land with barbed wire.
The IOF warned Palestinian citizens against approaching the area after informing them that it had been seized for “military purposes”.
The IOF further handed the Palestinian citizen Husein Abayyat an order to demolish his agricultural structure in the village.
According to Abayyat the order gives him a 24-hour time limit to evacuate his property.
Kisan is located to the east of Bethlehem City and inhabited by nearly 800 Palestinians. The village is surrounded by two major Israeli settlements that keep expanding on its lands.
