Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired at and seriously wounded a Palestinian youth near Efrat settlement between Bethlehem and al-Khalil on Friday morning.
Hebrew media reported that the IOF soldiers shot a Palestinian young man in the Al-Nashash area near the Gush Etzion settlement bloc south of Bethlehem claiming that he had tried to carry out a stabbing attack.
They said that the young man was shot in his head and chest. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Citizens are systematically subjected to attacks by the IOF soldiers stationed at the settlement junction.
