Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) erected on Monday afternoon military barriers in different locations in the vicinity of Tulkarem city in the northern West Bank.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers at Shoufe military checkpoint south of the city blocked the work of two journalists Muayad al-Ashqar and Ihab al-Dameiri while making a report on the area. Both journalists were detained for hours at the barrier.
IOF troops also erected a military makeshift checkpoint on Ramin-Tulkarem road checked the IDs of passengers and blocked traffic.
