The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday evening teargased Palestinian citizens at the main entrance to Jaba town south of Jenin.
Israeli soldiers attacked the citizens after setting up a makeshift checkpoint at the entrance to Jaba town where they embarked on stopping and searching cars and asking for passengers’ IDs.
According to eyewitnesses the IOF dispersed angry citizens and local youths by showering them with stun and tear gas grenades.
Many citizens reportedly suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the events at the main entrance to the town.
