The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening set up several makeshift checkpoints north of al-Khalil province in the West Bank.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli troops aboard military vehicles were deployed at some entrances to Halhoul town especially in the bridge area and Wadi Abun.
The IOF also closed the northern entrance to Halhoul in al-Hawawer area with barriers and set up a checkpoint where its soldiers embarked on searching Palestinian cars and passengers with no reported arrests.
