Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) set up on Monday evening military checkpoints at the entrances to Qafin town in Tulkarem governorate and the city of Salfit.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers in several military vehicles stopped Palestinian cars at the entrance to Qafin and Baqa al-Sharqiya towns near Tulkarem city checked the IDs of passengers and blocked traffic.
In a similar context IOF troops erected a makeshift barrier at the main entrance to Salfit city. Israeli soldiers checked the IDs of commuters amid deliberate provocation of Palestinian youths at the barrier.
Many drivers had to change routes and take bypass roads after IOF soldiers blocked traffic at the main road.
