The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday afternoon set up a makeshift checkpoint on a road north of al-Khalil city and restricted the movement of Palestinian vehicles.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers established a roadblock at the junction of Beit Einun village (northeast of al-Khalil) and embarked on intercepting and searching passing vehicles.
They added that the soldiers forced Palestinian citizens to stay for hours under the scorching sun before letting them go.
Every once in a while the Israeli army imposes movement restrictions on the Palestinians in Beit Einun area.
