The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance to Qarawat Bani Hassan town northwest of Salfit and restricted the movement of Palestinian citizens and vehicles.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Israeli soldiers stopping passing cars at the checkpoint and embarking on searching them and checking the IDs of passengers.
They said that this Israeli measure obstructed the movement of citizens and prevented them from reaching their destinations and workplaces.
