BEIT HANUN (PIC)– A Palestinian youth was killed on Wednesday afternoon and a number of others were wounded when IOF troops fired an artillery shell at them in Beit Hanun north of the Gaza Strip local sources reported.
They said that IOF soldiers stationed east of Beit Hanun fired the shell at a group of citizens killing Ramzi Awadallah 24 and injuring three others including an old man.
However PA security sources said that Awadallah was hit with a number of bullets and was arrested by the IOF soldiers before he was declared dead while the old man Awadallah Saadat was hit with a bullet in the thigh.
In another incident Wednesday evening an IOF drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinian resistance fighters.
A spokesman for the AMB the armed wing of the Fatah faction said that the group members survived the shelling.
He said that the group was on its way to launch a “Jihad” mission affirming that the AMB would pursue in its resistance operations.
In the West Bank a number of Palestinian resistance elements last night fired at an IOF military position in a settlement near Ramallah.
The Hebrew radio quoted an IOF spokesman as saying that no casualties were reported in the attack.
