IOF shelling kills Palestinian fighter wounds two others

Sunday 7-December-2008

GAZA (PIC)– A Palestinian member of the Salahuddin Brigades the armed wing of the popular resistance committees was killed on Saturday while on a resistance mission at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.

The armed wing said in a communiqué that Raed Yousef 21 was on a special mission east of Gaza city when an IOF tank spotted him and fired a projectile near the separation fence between Gaza and the 1948 occupied land killing him instantly.

Meanwhile medical sources told PIC reporter on Saturday night that two Palestinian resistance fighters were wounded one of them critically when an IOF warplane fired a missile at them in Jabalia northern Gaza.

The raid followed an earlier one that targeted another group of resistance fighters in Beit Hanun in northern Gaza. The group members escaped the raid unharmed.

The raids followed firing of three locally made missiles at the Israeli settlement of Sderot and Askalan city in the 1948 occupied Palestine at the hands of one of the armed wings of Fatah and the Salahuddin Brigades.

In the West Bank the IOF soldiers kidnapped Nawal Al-Saadi 45 the wife of Sheikh Bassam Al-Saadi one of the Islamic Jihad leaders in Jenin refugee camp.

The IOF troops encircled Saadi’s home at an early hour on Saturday and asked all family members via loudspeakers to evacuate their home before they entered and wreaked havoc in it.

The family members said that the soldiers separated Nawal from her children and confiscated all mobile phones in the house along with the computer before hand shackling Nawal and taking her away.

Nawal was detained in June and subjected to interrogation for one month in Jalama prison. Her husband served a five-year term then was held under administrative custody.

Nawal’s son Ezzedin had been held in Israeli occupation jails for two years and her brother Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Saadi another Jihad leader is serving a 40-month sentence while her husband’s sister Qahera Al-Saadi is serving a life sentence.

Nawal lost her two brothers and twin sons along with other members of her family in an IOF streak of murders against the Saadi family.
