Three Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday afternoon when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled the weekly demonstration of Kafr Qaddum village in Qalqilya.
Activist Murad Shtewi said that the IOF heavily fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the peaceful protesters.
Shtewi said that three Palestinians suffered rubber-coated metal bullet wounds and were treated in the field.
He added that the IOF raided several homes in the village during the demonstration and used them as lookouts.
Hundreds of Palestinian citizens and foreign peace activists following Friday prayer took to the streets in Kafr Qaddum to call for opening the village’s main road that has been closed for 16 days and to protest the latest home demolition campaign in Sur Baher in Jerusalem.
