A Palestinian youth on Wednesday was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) while driving his car at Etzion junction north of al-Khalil.
Palestinian security sources elaborated that IOF soldiers stationed at Etzion junction which connects al-Khalil and Bethlehem provinces opened fire at a Palestinian vehicle resulting in the injury of Ahmad Thawabteh 27 with a bullet in his back. He was taken to hospital in al-Khalil for treatment.
IOF troopers closed the entrances to Beit Fujjar Um Salamuneh and Taqoa towns in the area and conducted combing operations.
