The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Sunday evening shot and injured a Palestinian youngster at the northern entrance to Bethlehem to the south of West Bank.
The PIC field reporter quoted local sources as saying that Israeli snipers stationed at the military watch tower at the entrance to the city opened fire at the young man for allegedly trying to throw a home-made bomb at the tower.
The injured youth was transferred to hospital suffering from moderate foot wounds.
Following the incident IOF stormed Aida refugee camp to the north of the city and carried out violent raid and search operations looking for the injured youngster.
