IOF shoots injures Palestinians during clashes in Nablus

Violent clashes erupted on Sunday night and at dawn Monday with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) who stormed several neighborhoods in Nablus. Five Palestinians were injured by live bullets and several others suffered breathing problems.

Medical sources reported that the total injuries reached 5 injuries with Tutu bullets and they were all taken to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus for treatment. IOF also fired tear gas canisters and several civilians suffered breathing difficulty.

Local sources said that IOF raided several areas in Nablus including the city center the Ras al-Ain neighborhood the vicinity of the old and new Askar refugee camps and near the Beit Furik checkpoint.

Clashes erupted on Kashika and Al-Basha streets. The IOF soldiers broke into the area between the old and new Askar refugee camps and searched a deserted barracks in the vicinity of the Beit Furik checkpoint according to the sources.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOF soldiers stormed Sufyan street and arrested Anan Abu Duhair the owner of the Millennium Company. Also IOF raided his company and seized the mobile phone of the company’s director.

Meanwhile IOF arrested a young man from Al-Basha street detained several young men obstructed the passage of vehicles and tightened the procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint east of Nablus.
