A Palestinian young man from Gaza was killed on Sunday evening by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) south of the West Bank city of Tulkarem.
The ministry of health in the Gaza Strip said in a brief statement that the IOF shot and killed the young man Mahmoud Aram near the Jbara checkpoint south of Tulkarem.
According to the Hebrew website Hadashot Betkhon Sadeh the Palestinian young man from Gaza was pronounced dead after Israeli soldiers shot at him while he was trying to cross the West Bank barrier near Tulkarem.
Hebrew media claimed that the Israeli soldiers shot at the Palestinian youth while he was attempting to “illegally cross a West Bank security fence.”
