IOF soldiers arrest Palestinian lecturer 3 citizens in Al-Khalil

NABLUS (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained Palestinian lecturer Dr. Mohammed Salibi after storming his home in Nablus at dawn Thursday local sources said.

Ahmed Al-Beitawi a researcher with the Tadamun foundation for human rights said that the soldiers blasted their way into Salibi’s house and assaulted his sons before taking him away.

He recalled that the IOF soldiers arrested Dr. Salibi on 13-12-2009 and held him in administrative custody for 14 months.

Beitawi said that Salibi suffers from diabetes and hypertension and had undergone a heart surgery. His son Amir 22 was detained ten days ago and is currently held in Megiddo prison.

IOF soldiers detained a 24-year-old youth in Nablus at dawn Thursday locals said.

In Al-Khalil locals reported that three young men were arrested including two brothers.
