Wednesday 20-December-2006

TULKAREM (PIC)– IOF troops killed a 13-year-old child in cold blood on Sunday (17/12) while playing with a friend near the separation wall in the vicinity of Far’on village south of Tulkarm to the north of the West Bank.

Local sources reported that the girl called Dua’a Nasser Abdul Kader was in the company of her friend the 10-year-old Rasha Shalabi when soldiers fired at them without prior notice critically wounding Dua’a and slightly injuring Rasha.

They added that Rasha managed to run to her home and told her family about the injury of Dua’a and they reported to police and paramedics who rushed to the scene but were blocked by soldiers under gun threat.

An Israeli ambulance car evacuated the girl to an Israeli hospital where she was announced dead less than an hour after reaching hospital.

The body of Dua’a was carried to a Tulkarm hospital Tuesday evening where hundreds of angry citizens were present and armed men fired into the air vowing to avenge the killing of the child.
