IOF soldiers storm Al-Khalil arrest two children in Qalqilia

AL-KHALIL (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed various areas in Al-Khalil province at dawn Sunday as military barriers were installed on entrances to the city itself local sources said.

They said that IOF patrols stormed the village of Daheria south of the city Halhul north of the city and Fahs neighborhood in the city and continued to roam their streets for several hours.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF soldiers checked IDs of civilians in Al-Khalil on military roadblocks in Fahs district and south of the city.

IOF troops on Saturday violently quelled a peaceful anti wall march in Al-Khalil village of Beit Ummar and prevented farmers from reaching their fields. Local sources said that the soldiers used teargas to disperse the demonstrators who included foreign activists.

Meanwhile IOF soldiers in 20 armored vehicles broke into the village of Azun east of Qalqilia and arrested two children 14 and 16 years old respectively locals said.

They said that the soldiers intentional terrified families of both children and handcuffed their hands and blindfolded them before taking them away.

Other groups of soldiers stormed the village of Kufrdan west of Jenin at dawn Sunday and roamed its streets in a provocative manner.
