GAZA (PIC)– Palestinian security sources have unveiled that IOF special units were deployed in the Atatra area in northern Gaza Strip amidst intensive air cover from Apache choppers Monday night.
According to the sources the copters were flying at low altitude to provide the infiltrators with aerial cover on fears they might be trapped and attacked by Palestinian fighters monitoring the area.
The infiltration came few hours after Israeli war minister Amir Peretz gave his war generals the free hand to kill Palestinian prominent figures and fighters in Gaza Strip.
Few days ago an Israeli reconnaissance plane unleashed an air-to-surface missile at Palestinian fighters from the Quds Brigades armed wing of the Islamic Jihad killing one of them and wounding another.
The Palestinian resistance factions vowed to repel any IOF invasion of the Strip adding that they will surprise the invaders with unprecedented combat techniques.
In the West Bank large numbers of IOF troops backed by military vehicles stormed Jenin city and its nearby refugee camp at the first hours of Tuesday morning local sources revealed adding that fierce clashes erupted between the invaders on the one hand and Palestinian fighters defending the city on the other hand; but no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades armed wing of Fatah faction pledged severe retaliation to the IOF assassination attempt of its leader Ahmad Sanakra in Nablus city at dawn Tuesday. Sanakra was seriously wounded in the chest and the abdomen.
“Our response to the IOF assassination attempt against Sanakra will start with reuniting the AMB ranks throughout the country” said Nasser Abu Aziz the AMB spokesman in the city asserting that the AMB reprisal will be “painful”.
