The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday prevented the local authorities in at-Tira village in western Ramallah from reclaiming a swath of land and confiscated a bulldozer working on the site.
Chief of the village council Abdul-Jaber Mohamed said that the IOF seized a bulldozer and stopped efforts to reclaim a swath of land in the southern area of at-Tira.
The IOF claimed the land is located in Area C of the West Bank which is under Israeli control and said that any work in this area is forbidden without permission from the authorities in Beit El settlement.
