Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Friday afternoon broke into Beir al-Basha town to the south of Jenin city in the northern West Bank. IOF soldiers stormed Palestinians’ homes and erected a military barrier in the town.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that IOF troops in several military vehicles raided the town and were deployed in the streets. They questioned some of the inhabitants as well.
Israeli soldiers set up a military checkpoint on Jenin-Nablus road that traverses the town. They stopped Palestinians’ cars and checked their IDs.
