Violent clashes broke out at dawn Monday between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem.
According to eyewitnesses the IOF stormed the camp and embarked on firing volleys of tear gas canisters at local youths.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked the house of Yousef Fahmawi during the events in the camp.
In another incident Palestinian youths last night threw homemade firebombs towards the western side of the illegal settlement of Beit El.
According to Israel’s Channel 7 four Molotov cocktails and one pipe bomb were thrown at the settlement and some of them fell near a house. No one was injured.
In recent days the same settlement was targeted twice with two firebombs and one explosive device.
Such incidents came amid growing Israeli terrorism against the Palestinians in the occupied territories where Jewish settlers and soldiers intensified their attacks against local residents and their property in recent months.
