IOF storms W. Bank areas kidnaps several Palestinians

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different West Bank areas last night and at dawn Wednesday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens and set up checkpoints.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man last night at the military checkpoint of Dotan near Ya’bad town in southern Jenin.

The IOF also broke into and ransacked some homes at dawn in Yamun town in western Jenin.

Meanwhile the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance of Rummanah town in the northwest of Jenin and embarked on intercepting and searching cars.

The IOF also stormed Faqqua village northeast of Jenin without making arrests.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped two brothers from the family of al-Nammura from their home in Dura town and two other citizens in Kharas town.

The IOF ransacked other homes in Dura town and set up military checkpoints at the northern entrances of al-Khalil and the towns of ad-Dhahiriya Sa’ir and Halhul.

In Nablus one citizen was kidnaped by the IOF from his home in ad-Dahiya neighborhood of the city.

Three others were taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in Beita town south of Nablus.

A citizen from Nablus was reported missing on Tuesday evening but later his family found out that he was kidnaped by the IOF.

In Ramallah the IOF kidnaped six citizens during raids on homes in Silwad town.

The IOF also stormed Kafr Ein village in the north of Ramallah and kidnaped two young men from their homes.

In east Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped last night a Palestinian young man during his presence in the Old City and hauled him to a detention center in Salahuddin street.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed at dawn Tuesday different West Bank areas and kidnaped several Palestinians from their homes.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped two brothers from the family of as-Saadi in Jenin City to pressure their brother Nour to turn himself in.

The IOF also threatened to kill Nour if he did not turn himself in voluntarily according to his family.

Eyewitnesses said that resistance fighters opened fire at the IOF after they kidnaped the Saadi brothers from their homes and withdrew from Jenin.

Meanwhile the IOF stormed al-Yamun town in western Jenin and Beit Dajan town in eastern Nablus and kidnaped five citizens from their homes.

Six others were taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in al-Khader town in western Bethlehem Tamun town in southern Tubas and Surif town in northern al-Khalil.

In eastern Tulkarem dozens of Palestinian young men suffered from their exposure to tear gas during clashes with the IOF in Anabta town.

Later in the morning the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance of Bal’a town in eastern Tulkarem and obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Thursday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank amid clashes with local youths in some areas.

According to local sources violent clashes broke out in Qabatiya town in Jenin after the IOF broke into and ransacked a number of homes.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF patrol vehicles came under gunfire attack in Qabatiya.

No arrests have been reported during the IOF campaign in the town.

In Nablus the IOF kidnaped a young man identified as Ibrahim Bashkar from his home in the city.

The IOF also raided homes of several ex-detainees in Beit Furik town east of Nablus and confiscated money from them.

Meanwhile the IOF kidnaped Sheikh Mousa al-Midfa a Mosque Imam in Nablus city during his presence in Occupied Jerusalem.

In Bethlehem special military forces stormed the house of ex-detainee Anas Mousa in al-Khader town and kidnaped him.

Another citizen identified as 47-year-old Ashraf al-Hasnat was kidnaped by Israeli plain-clothes soldiers during his presence at the main entrance to al-Deheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem.

The IOF also kidnaped four young men during campaigns in Ramallah city and Azzun town east of Qalqilya.

In Jericho violent clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in Ein as-Sultan refugee camp.

Local sources said that some windows of homes sustained damage and several young men suffered from injuries during the clashes with the IOF in Ein as-Sultan camp.
