Violent clashes broke out on Thursday morning in Jenin refugee camp and Wadi Burqin area between local young men and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) after the latter broke into the family’s house of martyr Ahmed Ismail Jarrar and kidnapped his brother Mohamed.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that skirmishes took place near Diwan Al Jarrar in Wadi Burqin after troops aboard patrol vehicles entered the area.
The confrontations between young men and soldiers also spread to Jenin camp where several homes were stormed and ransacked during the IOF campaign.
The IOF also stormed a student house in the vicinity of the Arab American University of Jenin and kidnapped a young man called Ahmed Tuqan.
