The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday night stormed the towns of Anabta and Qaffin in Tulkarem province and attacked local young men with tear gas.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli troops entered Anabta town east of the province and stationed themselves near the municipality building and on the main road before young men showed up and hurled stones at them.
They added that the soldiers responded by firing tear gas and stun grenades.
Israeli soldiers were also deployed in Anabta valley and on the road to Kafr al-Labad with no known reason.
Similar clashes with young men also took place in Qaffin town northeast of Tulkarem during an IOF campaign. No arrests were made.
