Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) summoned military reinforcements in the West Bank in anticipation of Friday clashes that were called for by the Palestinian factions in protest at the assassination of martyr Ahmad Jarrar and at the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
According to Hebrew media sources the decision was made on Wednesday by Chief of IOF General Staff Gadi Eizenkot.
The sources added that the reinforcements are going to be deployed in central locations in the West Bank as well as in the flash points in order to quell the anticipated Friday clashes.
